Current Status: Unplanned Maintenance

Updated to clarify that the unplanned maintenance is on August 3.) Austin Disk Services will be updated to address a security vulnerability.

WHEN WILL THE MAINTENANCE OCCUR:

Starting 08/03/2010, 00:00

Ending 08/03/2010, 02:00

WHO IS IMPACTED:

Customers utilizing the following:

• Austin Disk shares (user home directories and departmental shares)
• Windows Terminal Services (user profiles, redirected documents folders, etc.)
• Adobe Connect
• Web publishing content on Austin Disk (ColdFusion, Access databases and HTML pages)
• Upload and download from the Document Repository system. (The DR service will still provide information and respond to queries about stored files.)
• Access to Green Output of mainframe reports. (For Austin Disk storage only. Reports sent to WebSpace are not impacted.)
• vDesk Virtual Desktops (pilot project)
• Other local resources that make use of Austin Disk will also be affected.

WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF THE MAINTENANCE:

Services will be intermittent during the maintenance window. Once maintenance is complete, users may need to log in again to re-establish connections to Austin Disk and user profiles.

UT Direct Planned Maintenance

Start:Aug 1, 2010 - 10:00 AM
End: Aug 1, 2010 - 12:00 PM

On Sunday, August 1, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, the UT Direct will undergo maintenance to put in place a new interface. Users will need to refresh Web pages and developers of certain applications will need to have their steplibs updated in order for pages to render properly. Users may experience some disruptions of service until affected applications are updated.

LEARN Network Maintenance

End: Jul 31, 2010 - 6:00 AM

The LEARN network will undergo scheduled maintenance on Saturday, July 31 from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. Connectivity to Internet2 and NLR research networks may be affected during this time, though minimal impact is expected as most sites on Internet2 and NLR are also reachable via the commodity network, which is unaffected by this maintenance.

PDA Parser Planned Maintenance

Start:Jul 30, 2010 - 5:00 PM
End:

On Friday, July 30, 2010, from 5 to 5:15 p.m., the PDA Parser will undergo maintenance. No interruptions in service are anticipated for this maintenance period.

DEFINE Internals/Enterprise Workflow Planned Maintenance

Start:Jul 30, 2010 - 4:00 PM
End: Jul 30, 2010 - 6:00 PM

On Friday, July 30, 2010, from 4 to 6 p.m., DEFINE Internals/Enterprise Workflow on PROD will undergo maintenance. Some Electronic Office Management (EOM) users using the application will need to reload the page if errors are received during this maintenance period.
